Other Lotissements

In addition to the three major state institutions, the Municipal Company for Low Cost Housing- Bucharest, C.F.R. and the Construction Company, other private or state held institutions built a series of lotissements from the end of the 19th century until 1948. These include the Bucharest Municipal Factories, the Phenix Oil Factory, the Municipal Council, who have made important housing projects for their employees. In addition, in the 1930s, investor Aron Mayer built one of the first modernist-style lotissements – in Rahova.
